Think about that when you think "there is no work online." With technology now, many companies are taking advantage of telecommuting simply because it saves them money and office space from having to cater to a employees expense-wise. Telecommuting jobs are becoming more and more common.
I live in city of 900 people and already I have hired 7 people online myself one from Sri Lanka one from America, one from Ghana and other an advertisers. If I hired only in my city I would be lucky to find a "good" writer here let alone an expert writer such as I have found online and there is only radio, T.V. or news paper advertising in my town and they are all way out of my budget. So it was cheaper for me to outsource my work to telecommuting freelancers outside of my town & country. I had 7 people working for me when I needed them and I work from home. If I would have hired then and had then come in I would have needed a office building, desk and other things.

They have over 400,000 jobs with about (100,000 being telecommuting compatible) to find the telecommuting compatible jobs on this website search for telecommuting, telecommuter and other various of "telecommute"

This is another great website for telecommuting compatible jobs. It is setup so employees can work both for a flat rate or hourly pay they are no biding the employees just apply for the job and submit your resume you ether get hire or not. And you work on a contract basis. They have a unique feather the "oDesk Team" it allows the employer to take a screenshot of the employees screen, takes a photo of them via a webcam & record the words you type all of it gets sent to the employer all to show if the employee is at there desk & working. They have 27,000 jobs available.
